Trip to Disneyland - 8/31/07 : We celebrated Billy Boy's 9th birthday at Disneyland and California Adventure. For weeks Billy Boy thought we were going to Sea World! SURPRISE!!! It was Aaliyah's first time to Disneyland. It was truly a delight watching her expressions that 13-hour fun-filled day. It really was "over-stim" for a 2-year-old, but I think it helped that Aaliyah took 2 naps. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed themselves, too. : ) Special Highlights: California Screamin' rollercoaster for the Billy's; Aaliyah meets Minnie and Mickey Mouse - the characters on her diapers Tips from Margie: Splurge on snacks (ice cream, etc.) at Disneyland. If you need it, you can buy liquor at California Adventure. Most importantly, you can bring countless bottles of water and snacks of your own so you don't have to spend $2.75 each for bottled water. YAY!
